    Mike and I just got back from Las Vegas to learn this sad fact. We were staying at the Las Vegas Hilton and there was NO indication that it might be closing. We only heard about it from the cashier at the sundries shop.

    When I can't get a Mind Meld, is there really any reason to go to Las Vegas anymore?

    @Laura, yeah, it really blows. I wonder why CBS/Paramount can't keep this franchise from failing.

    And yes, there would really be no other reason to visit Vegas anymore, except maybe Coke World :)

    I live in Vegas and Im saddened by this turn of events. Yet another of the few remaining "Amazing/Fun" things leaves Vegas, probably to be replaced by yet another LA style ultra-hip lounge/club or some trendy shopping or something equally bland.

    The ONLY reason to go to the Hilton will now be gone.

    Mike, I couldn't agree more. It was a great place to take the Family, away from the casino. Very few of those places left.

    And I am pretty sure the space will be taken over by the trendy shops, restaurants and clubs. Huge loss for Hilton.

    This So Sad. My Boyfreind And I Were just there this summer. We had a great time, the highlight of the trip!
